Go to Facebook.com and log in with your email address and password.
Go to the icon of the nut at the top right of the page, and click 'Settings'.

In the menu on the left, click on 'Timeline and Tagging' to control who can post on your wall.

How to get rid of virus links on Facebook
The reason why we don't want to have pop ups on Facebook is because we worry we will get a virus. This can install malware on our system, slowing it down and leaving us open to attack. They can steal personal data and even use our computer as a gateway for nefarious online behavior. Here is how to get rid of virus links on Facebook so this won't happen.
1. Open Norton Safe Web in your browser and select 'Allow'.

Click on 'Allow access to latest news and wall' so the Norton tool can analyse your latest posts.
Click again 'Allow' to allow Norton to inspect your account in search of infected links.
The results will show if any of our contacts has shared a malicious link during the last 24 h. If Norton finds a suspected link this will appear with an X or an exclamation mark and will also offer the possibility to take actions.

Enables Auto-Scan if you want Norton to scan all links that appear on your wall and automatically look for viruses and suspicious activities in the future.
