The first step is to log into Facebook on your device. Once logged in, press the three lines located to the right of the screen where you can access different ways to set up the Facebook app on your mobile.
Once here, scroll down until you find the "Help & Settings" option. There you should choose the "Application Settings" option to disable automatic video playback on Facebook.
You will find various options but the one you want is "automatic video playback", which unsurprisingly will be activated. Click this option to go in and change the settings.
