How To Upload Photos On Instagram From PC
We thought at this stage, Instagram would have cancelled the option of uploading photos from PC, but it's not the case. They remain committed in saying they're a mobile service and that uploading images from a computer doesn't make much sense. So, can you upload new photos to Instagram from your PC? Of course you can. All you'll need is an Android emulator for PC and you're ready to roll. Sounds hard? On Onehowto we'll show you step by step how to upload photos on Instagram from PC.
First of all, go to http://gramblr.com/uploader/ and download the Gramblr app clicking on "Dowload Here!". Make sure you are downloading the adequate version for your operating system: Either Windows, Mac OSX or Linux.
Open the file you have just downloaded and follow the instructions to successfully install Gramblr on your computer.
Once you have finished with the installing process of Gramblr, you must open this app on your PC or Mac and enter your Instagram username and password. Next, click on Login to access your account.
The next step to upload photos on Instagram from PC is to click on 'choose file' to select the picture you want to upload to the app from your computer. Bear in mind that the image has to be cut and must have a size of 650x650 pixels.
If your photo has a different format, you should adjust it before you upload it. To do so you, take a look at our article on how to stop Instagram cropping photos.
Once you have selected your photo, you must click on the Upload button so the picture is successfully loaded on the page. Remember that you will only be able to upload photos on Instagram with Gramblr as long as they have a JPG extension that weighs less than 500kb; if they are heavier or have a different extension, you should modify them beforehand.
In the box reading "Caption", write the text that you want your image to be accompanied by on Instagram and when you're ready, click on "Save Caption".
You have now successfully uploaded a photo on Instagram from your PC! You can check clicking on the Instagram link that will appear on the screen, and you'll also have the chance to share it on Facebook or Twitter from this same app. However, this functionality is not yet available for Instagram stories, so you will have to search for another third party app such as "Later" or "Pixelgarde".
