  4. Tap on Media Auto Download option.
  5. Go to Images, Audio, Video.
  6. Then change it to Wi-Fi.
  • For Android users:
  1. Open Whatsapp.
  2. Go to Whatsapp settings.
  3. Open the Chats and Calls option.
  4. Tap on Media Auto Download option.
  5. Click on the option: When using mobile data.
  6. A dialog box will appear. In it tap on the checkboxes you want to download when you are using mobile data. Then click on OK. The options with unchecked boxes will not be downloaded while you are using mobile data.
  7. Do the same thing with the rest two options.

Turn off Whatsapp Chat Backup when using Mobile data

When you are using mobile data backing up your Whatsapp data in cloud can be a bit expensive. If you want to turn off this feature then use the following steps.
