There are different ways in which you can check whether your Gmail account has been hacked or not. The first method is to use the "last account activity" feature. This appears in the right bottom part of your inbox, and you'll be able to read the following information there:

  • IP address from which you're connecting
  • Date of last account activity
  • Link to details

Click on details and you'll see more detailed information of the sessions you've started on Gmail.

Change also your security question, password recovery email and registered phone number, to make it more difficult to the person trying to enter your account.

We recommend you to use a rather long password which contains numbers, special characters and both upper and lower case letters.
