The first thing we need to do in order to add friends to LINE is to press ont the "plus" button at the top right end of the screen on the LINE main page. Once you have pressed, a menu will appear where you have to select the option "add friends".
A new window will appear where you'll be able to see four main sections will appear apart from several recommendations with official accounts (they can be a celebrity's account or companies). Each of the sections that appear on the screen are a way of adding friends to LINE.
The first of them is the simplest, which is having friends in our contact list. If it's your case, if we tell the system, it will automatically look for contacts that have LINE.
The second option of adding friends to LINE is through a QR code. Pressing on this option, LINE will show a camera that will act like a QR scanner, which will allow you to add friends scanning their QR codes which are accessible from LINE too.
We have another option to add friends on LINE and it's with the "Shake it" option. With this option you'll only need to shake both smartphones which are close from each other and with LINE open to automatically add a friend to the program.
Last but not least, we have the traditional system which is through a user ID. When we fill in our LINE profile, we can indicate a name or user ID, with which we'd like to be named on screen.
