How to unblock someone on LINE

If you have blocked someone on LINE and you want to now unblock them, you must access the "More" option which you will find on the menu of this app.

Now you need to find the "Friends" option to unblock the user you previously blocked on LINE. This section helps you manage your friend list and control who can interact with you on the platform.

Additionally, the Friends section is where you can customize your interactions and manage privacy settings, ensuring a safer messaging experience.

There you will find, among others, the "Blocked users" option together with the number of contacts you've added to this list. In this screenshot, we can see that we have a single blocked contact.

It's useful to periodically review this list to ensure that you are in control of who can communicate with you, especially if you frequently manage your social interactions.

When you click on this option you will see a list of all the users that have been blocked on your LINE account. You now need to find the one you want to unblock and click on the "Edit" button that appears next to their name.

This action will allow you to modify the status of the contact, making it possible to restore communication with them if you choose to do so.

At this point, you have two options: "Unblock" or "Delete". In this case you should opt for the former.

Remember that if you remove that user from your blocked list you still cannot contact them. You'll need to add them as a friend on LINE again to send messages. This process ensures that both parties consent to renewed communication.

Now a popup message will appear on the bottom of the screen of your smartphone to confirm that you have unblocked that contact on LINE. And there you go!

Now you will be able to receive the messages that that person sent you again, and you can also send what you want to them. And if you ever want to, you can always block them again. This flexibility allows you to manage your interactions as needed, providing a personalized communication experience.
