Surely it means that someone has accessed your Facebook profile and is using it without your knowledge.

Fortunately, the social network has taken this possibility into account and is aware of the existence of hackers and has implemented a security tool to alleviate related concerns. Don't wait any longer and discover how to tell if someone has hacked your Facebook account.

To tell if someone has hacked your Facebook account, you should activate the Login alerts. To do so, log into your Facebook account, click on the button on the top right part of your screen and select "Settings" on the fold-out menu.

Next, select "Security". This will allow you to monitor who is connected and enable login notifications. To do this, go to "Login Notifications" and select "Email". Facebook will inform you when someone has accessed your account from a computer or mobile device you've never used.

Now, enable the "Login Approvals" so that every time you connect from an unknown computer or device, Facebook will ask you for a security code sent to you via your mobile. It's somewhat complicated, but it's a good preventative measure if you think someone has hacked into your account.

Stop any suspicious activity by selecting "Where you're logged in" where you'll see all the locations where your account is active. In my case, for example, my Facebook is only open on my desktop. If you notice an unknown location, click on "End Activity".

This way, your Facebook session will be closed for any user that accessed it. It's a very good alternative! You can also take a look at the amount of Facebook sessions you have open to check if any of the sessions that appear are not you.

My Facebook account got hacked, and I can no longer log in or change my password. The hacker made it so that I have to give a 6 digit code generator number in order to re access my account, and I dont know how to get that number on my laptop, or what to do to bypass this request. I called several of my friends and they tell me my account doesn't even show up anymore! Can you please help me? Facebook has been no help at all. I have 11 years of stuff on there, along with 200 friends! Please tell me what to do. My email address is: ******* Thank you
